Dolf is from the Netherlands (home team is Feijenoord), but moved to Ireland in 1986, and is living in Co. Meath since 2015.

He received his first camera, an Olympus Pen-E 35mm slides, at 12 and won his first competition 2 years later.

Dolf didn't go digital until 2014, and enjoys taking portraits of people, as well as shooting sports and street photography.
